Terms and subscription conditions

Kaviqa helps you research possible flight savings by checking live fare data and showing route intelligence. Where Kaviqa booking is available, you can also complete the purchase through Kaviqa; see “Booking through Kaviqa” below for what that does and does not cover.

Flight prices, availability, aircraft, fare rules, and booking links can change quickly. Search results are research outputs, not a guaranteed offer, until you actually complete a purchase. Where a result sends you to book with a third party (an airline, Kiwi, or another booking site), you must verify final price, dates, cabin, baggage, visa, transfer, refund, and ticket conditions with them before paying.

Booking through Kaviqa

Kaviqa booking is not available for every search result, and can be unavailable altogether. Where a “Book” button is shown on a result, Kaviqa acts as your booking agent: you pay Kaviqa through Stripe, and the ticket itself is issued by the airline through Duffel, a flight-booking platform Kaviqa uses to arrange the purchase on your behalf. You will need to provide passenger details (name, date of birth, contact details, and, where the airline requires it, passport or other identity document details) to complete that purchase.

Where a result instead sends you to Kiwi or directly to an airline’s own site, that booking is made between you and them, on their terms and payment page, not through Kaviqa. Kaviqa is not a party to that booking and cannot change, cancel, or refund it on your behalf. Kiwi links are affiliate links: if you book through one, Kaviqa may earn a commission from Kiwi, through Awin, at no extra cost to you.

For a ticket booked through Kaviqa, you can request cancellation from your booking, and Kaviqa will attempt cancellation and any resulting refund with the airline through Duffel. Whether a cancellation is possible at all, and whether it is free, partly refundable, or non-refundable, depends on the fare conditions and the operating airline’s own conditions of carriage for the ticket you bought, not on Kaviqa. Schedule changes, delays, baggage, and other issues once a ticket is issued are the operating airline’s responsibility; Kaviqa will help you raise a cancellation or refund request but does not control airline operations.

Trip booking service

Kaviqa’s trip booking service (“We book it for you”) is a personal service in which Kaviqa finds your trip, writes you a personal trip report and books it together with you. A$499 per trip. One price for the whole booking, however many travellers. No extra Kaviqa fees.

Sending a request and a short intro call are free. To start, you pay A$499 per trip; we then build your personal trip report and book it together with you. You get a full refund if we can't find a trip that matches your brief (route, dates, cabin and budget), if you cancel before your report is delivered, or if something goes wrong on our side and we can't complete the booking. Once your report is delivered and your trip is booked, the fee is non-refundable.

The fee pays for the work of researching and writing your trip report and of booking it with you. It does not pay for any flight.

The flights are not part of the fee. You pay the A$499 fee to us, and pay airlines and Kiwi.com directly for your flights. We may also earn a commission from Kiwi.com; it's paid by Kiwi.com, not added to your fare. You pay the airlines or booking sites directly, with your own card and under their terms. Kaviqa acts as your adviser and booking helper. It is not a party to those bookings and does not hold your ticket money.

To ask for a refund, reply to your confirmation email or write to support@kaviqa.com. This doesn't limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Free searches

Cash fares are always free. Points and Cash & Points are free for departures within the next 60 days, with no account required. The window moves forward every day. All cash itineraries, stopovers and booking links are included.

The cutoff is inclusive and is 60 days from the current date in Australia/Sydney. For example, on 10 September, points departures through 9 November are free. On 20 September, the cutoff is 19 November.

This is an ongoing search window with no signup, payment card or trial countdown. Existing subscriptions and previously activated trials keep their current billing terms.

Paid access

Create an account and get Pro to search Points and Cash & Points more than 60 days ahead.

There are 4 paid plans: Plus A$12 AUD per month, Plus A$99 AUD per year, Pro A$29 AUD per month, or Pro A$199 AUD per year. Pro covers points and Cash & Points searches across the supported booking window and the full Hack Shield check on split-ticket deals, and route-watch alerts on up to 10 routes. Cash searches have no per-search fee.

Early members may be offered a launch price (A$24 a month or A$169 a year) for a limited number of members, and for a limited time when the Pro page shows an end date. The offer, its number of places and any end date are shown on the Pro page before you pay and stated again on the payment page. A member on the launch price keeps launch pricing for as long as the membership continues, including if they switch between monthly and yearly (the launch price for the new period, while Kaviqa still offers that price). Members who subscribed before the current plans existed are on Pro and keep the price they joined at for as long as their membership continues on the same plan. Anyone who joins, comes back after more than 90 days, upgrades from Plus, or switches between monthly and yearly while the launch offer is open gets the launch price for as long as places last; after that, or once the offer has ended, the price on sale is the standard price.

Plus covers points searches across the supported booking window, and a Plus member can upgrade to Pro from the Billing page: the card on file is charged only the difference for the rest of the current billing period, shown before you confirm, and the renewal date does not change.

Billing is handled by Stripe. Kaviqa does not store full card numbers. Your subscription renews at the end of each billing period, monthly or yearly depending on the plan you chose, until cancelled. You can manage your card, see your invoices or cancel on the Billing page of the app, or from the links in the emails we send you.

Promo codes, where offered, are applied at checkout and are subject to whatever limits are set on the individual code, such as an expiry date, a redemption limit, or a restriction to one plan.

A new Kaviqa sign-up is emailed a personal code for A$10 off your first payment for Plus or Pro, which you can enter at checkout and which is applied for you when you check out signed in to the account it was made for. The code works for 14 days from the moment it is made, and the expiry date is in that email. A card is always required. The code can be used once, by a signed-in Kaviqa account, for one first subscription payment only; it has no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and checkout takes one code per purchase. It does not depend on whether you agree to receive marketing. After the first payment your plan renews at its full price until you cancel online from Billing.

Cancelling stops future renewal. Access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period unless Stripe or Kaviqa says otherwise.

Refunds

Pro refund promise: if you email support@kaviqa.com within 30 days of your first Pro payment to say that Pro has not found you a deal worth it, Kaviqa will refund that payment in full.

Other subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, except where required by applicable law or where Kaviqa decides a refund is appropriate.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law, including Australian Consumer Law where it applies.

Fair use

Live searches are limited to 7 searches per 5 minutes per account or visitor. Kaviqa may pause, throttle, or block use that harms service reliability, abuses scraping capacity, attempts to bypass billing, or interferes with other users.

No guarantee

Kaviqa does not guarantee savings, fare availability, booking success, or that a shown route will be suitable for your trip. Split-ticket, positioning, mixed-cabin, and self-transfer options can involve extra baggage, visa, overnight, missed-connection, and cancellation risk.
